Problem with informations on dashboard

My Ride: 530d (Jan 2005) premium pack, pro nav, steptronic
It happened twice in 3 days.
The caracters displayed (in orange) in the middle of the dashboard (date/time, temp, kms/miles, gear number ...) suddendly turned off (no longer visible), and on again after few seconds.
It was during the daytime. My lights were off. I am with CIP 17.1.
Has anyone noticed this ?

Yes it has happend to a few people. Still no cause or solution was find

In my case just the central digits got blank just for 5 seconds and came back.
I am on 17.1 for 2 weeks now. Never happened with 16.1.

CIP version probably does not matter....since it has happened to all 12.1 - 17.1 version's car
