problem?

My Ride: bmw e61 520d 02/06 . bmw e39 cabriolet
i ear a noise when i leave the car from the left rear end .It`s like a fuel motor pump ,but noisier.i have a touring could it be the nivelation sistem .but just now after 3 months weird.

Fuel pump motor sound? So it sounds like a whinning sound?
Do you have Active Steering?
I'm not that familiar with the steering problems. Maybe someone else can help answer your question.

My Ride: 2007 Titanium Gray 550i, with sport, nav, HUD, Logic7, sat radio, cold weather, rear side airbags, rear seat heaters, and it goes like a bat outta hell!
Do a search on this....seems like someone else posted this question a few weeks ago and it ran into a fairly long thread.......
