Been there and done that! Lived many years in Wisconsin and western NY.

Snow if for Christmas cards and Bimmer brochures (per CWS550).

BTW, do those touring 5s have all wheel drive?

I've got the Falkens on... it is a very unpredictable drive in the latest snow we've had... sometimes not a problem, sometimes stuck on the simplest of situations... you just can't tell. One thing I'v enot had to do it set off on a hill - I've managed to keep a constant speed as I know I would not make it from stand still.

We can't get xDrive on BMW's in the UK (apart from the X3/X5/X6 of course).


Note to BMW: Audi have Quattro in the UK A4's and A6's so why can't we have xDrive over here!!!!
