Check out tirerack.com
It lets you pick a wheel and display how these will look on the car (Not very good but at least it give an idea).
If you read the very very first post in this thread.... "I tried the Tire Rack "view the wheels on your car" process but it doesn't really give me a picture. Any thoughts? Thanks "

I'm new to posting but have enjoyed this site very much. I just bought a'08 535i sport pack. in Platinum Gray. I'm going to upgrade my wheels to 19 in multi spoke, but can't decide if black wheels will go with this color. I tried the Tire Rack "view the wheels on your car" process but it doesn't really give me a picture. Any thoughts? Thanks

NO. IMHO, gray needs the silver or chrome sheen to waken the color. Black makes the wheels look smallish and gives the E60 a tuner look it doesn't deserve. If you went with a black body color, then the black wheels work.

I thought of going with black rims on my silver grey for the winter setup. Just didn't look right.

Oooppss, yes, after a couple of days of following this thread I tend to forget what the OP started with. Thank you for the reminder.

mtw1116 - Your car looks awesome. Wheels really make the car stand out. Thanks for the pic.
