My Ride: 08 535i, Platinum Gray, Sport Pkg
Thumbs up

I'm new to posting but have enjoyed this site very much. I just bought a'08 535i sport pack. in Platinum Gray. I'm going to upgrade my wheels to 19 in multi spoke, but can't decide if black wheels will go with this color. I tried the Tire Rack "view the wheels on your car" process but it doesn't really give me a picture. Any thoughts? Thanks

Love the black wheels on black cars but not on any other color. Sorry.
Don't go the pimp way with chrome either, they look awful on Silver gray. Just my two cents

Update your profile so we know your location. It makes a BIG difference in answers to this question In the UK for example, if you were to buy a white E60, everyone would laugh at you. In the US, it is a totally cool choice. Black wheels are again area specific.

I think black wheels would look great on PG. You should also consider 20's if you can afford it. You won't regret it!

Never did like black wheels,.....looks too much like dirty wheels.....but, to each his own.

black might work on platinum grey.

i think charcoal, anthracite, black chrome, diamond black, and of course platinum grey rims, would all work on a platinum grey car better than black rims though.
