E60 Newbie Question

My Ride: 2008 BMW 550i
2006 BMW X3
I've now had my 550i for 2 weeks. In my 2 E39s and my 650i, the battery was easy to spot in the trunk. It must be hidden under some panel in the 550i. But I dug around and couldn't find it. Where the heck is it?
