Pig of a week
What a week. Wife wanted to go out shopping as they do, two days ago. Five minutes from front door stone hit windscreen of mini, which as now been replaced. Picked up new car yesterday 530 D M sport. Did usual cleaning and polishing. Son came round to look at new car. 5 minutes down the road large stone thrown up in front of me and smashes into windscreen. Now booked in for replacement screen. Havent had to have a replacement screen in any of cars for 5 years or so. The state of the roads in the Uk is scandalous. Not a day goes past without more damage to the paintwork caused by debris being thrown up by other vehicles. What are the state of the roads in the areas you guys drive in?

Here in the Midlands the roads are just crap, my 2 month old 3k miles 520d M Sport is already covered in various stone chips and some minor screen damage. I'm just waiting to wreck one of my 19" rims on some of the ever increasing pot holes on the roads, even motorways are geting some real bad pot holes round here. I would love to know what my road tax and fuel tax is spent on....

I would love to know what my road tax and fuel tax is spent on.... well its not all on the roads, thats for sure (maybe they use the speeding fines for that
)
I suppose that, at the end of the winter, there are more potholes etc. etc.
