I can, but it's illegal with the red, blue, and white plates. If you have the older green on white plate you don't need a front plate in MA. I do wonder if anyone ever gets ticked for not having the front plate. Would a cop really stop you? And if they stop you when you're speeding, do they ever look at the front of the car? Things to ponder...

Yes the cops will definitely look at the front of your car when they stop you for speeding. I was caught once for speeding and ended up getting 3 violations (Speeding, No front plate and No registeration title)
