A friend of mine backed into my car and hit the rear bumper. He was quite slow so no big damage, but the flap that covers the PDC sensor broke off. At least it seems like it because I could not just pop it back. My guess is the flap lifts when I put it into reverse. Am I right?. Any advice on how to fix this?.

I thought the cover was just for cosmetics.

My advice is to take your car to your dealer.

The only flap I know about is the one that pops out to allow the towing eye to screw in. Could you post a picture of what you are referring to?
