Hi,

I think my LCI lights work differently, in that the atuo lights have the main headlights on (as does DRL). To get angel eyes only, I have to turn the switch to the right one click, what I would call sidelights I suppose.

Is that the same as everyone elses??

LM
Maybe it only happens with the Visibilty Package? Adaptive\ automatic lights?

In idrive I have DRL set to "On." I have the switch turned to the left so that the wee green light is on...

Same here. On a '07 LCI 520D, DRL activated and light switch in Auto position means dipped beams lit when engine running.
+1

The only way I can get the angel eyes on on their own, is to switch parking (side) lights.

DRL with the lights in auto mode gives dipped beam.

According to the handbook, for Xenon equiped vehicles, this is at reduced brightness and presumably still not angel eyes on their own.

Regards,

When I think about it, maybe one of the eyes is lit up in the middle...

I'll have a look tomorrow.

Thanks for the replies guys... i dont think there is anyway to do this pre LCI.... im jsut afraid i might drain the battery some day as I do forget to turn them off, even though there is a chime warning me... I guess i will just have to suck it up and get used to it...

I had a look.

The switch is all the way to the left.

In daylight, only the angel eyes are on. They go off when I turn off the car.
