My Ride: 535d M Sport LCI 2008 Space Gray/Dark Blue Dakota
Smile

Took my 535d to Main dealer today for 20K service ( 180 miles off my home patch - as on a business trip)
Jobs required / Oil + Microfilter. (Nothing else needed - 2008 LCI with only 20K miles)

Collected car and drove about 5-6 miles at start of homeward journey - noticed intermittent vibrations, which went away after a while.
When i carried on and reached 75-80, shaking came back big time now.....
Stopped vehcle, checked everything i could see + wheels and tyres..../ checked wheel bolts....no clues....

Turned round and drove back to Dealer immediately at 35-50 mph, vibration not so obvious but vehicle sluggish on throttle response...

Dealer immediately took vehicle in - baffled by my experience.
Service Manager appears 15 minutes later explaining my Handbrake was "adjusted" at the service but was maybe overtightened so I had driven off with my parking Brake shoes contacting the drum...

Explanation OK - but should I be checking this out in more detail re: any damage to shoes / adjuster etc.....?
Have got back home now after 150 mile trip and all appears OK and Brake functions OK......

Not the first time being very pissed with MD.....
