I ordered my 545i 5 days ago, how long into the process am I able to change or modify options?

I would like to add the ventilated seats to my order...

It depends, your dealer should be able to tell you what the date is ...

It really depends on how close your car is to actually going into production. It has almost nothing to do with when you placed your order. For example, you could have snagged an order that's going right into production (and therefore you can't change anything now). Or you may have your order placed for a car that's not entering production for 8 weeks.

Just call the dealership in the morning...

I would like to add the ventilated seats to my order...
I'm doing ED and my dealer says Munich will allow 3 weeks to one month changes in options before date of delivery. Go for one month to be safe.

just called and they said the car has already started production.... no changes can be made.... is this really the case? how fast are these cars produced? has anyone made changes after it's already started?

Ask them for the VIN number and check the status yourself.

Production started, and it can't be changed. If you've gotta have it.... tell the dealer to order you another car.
