NEW CPO 550i w/ 49,250 miles. Another thing to add to the list for the dealer to check. I had my car sitting for about 3 days in the same spot before we had our second dumping of snow and I noticed 3 oil spots on my driveway after I moved it. One spot was about 2.5? diameter and the others were about 0.75?. They were about in the middle of the car slightly toward the passenger side.

Valve cover gaskets are also common. My vacuum pump was leaking oil pretty bad. My valve cover gaskets are leaking also, but most of it doesnt reach the ground (collects on cover). I'll be doing those myself soon.

A leaking CPO ... how many days/weeks/months & miles have you owned it? If the car is relatively new to you something might have been missed in the CPO inspection. Get it to the dealer ASAP!

Especially since your car is probably still covered under the 4 yr / 50K mile warranty no CPO co-pay should be imposed!

Take the car to your dealer now! Do not wait until new car warranty expires. NCW is much safer bet that CPO.

I have had it a month and drove about 1,000 miles. Most of the miles were the trips back to the dealer, VOB (an hour away), to fix other things. (broken rear cup holder, missing ashtray, missing battery in second key fob, non-matching and missing valve stem caps) They also re-re-repainted (3x) the bumper from stone chips. The first time, they did not fill the holes, and the second time they had to send it back because it still looked bad. I am taking it to Towson this week, I was there last week, however they did not want me to leave the car beacuse of the snow. I have also noticed a small spot of condensation on the inside of the rear window. It shows up from time to time??? I also think the rear pad are a little below 5mm. Per CPO they are to replace the pads if they measure BELOW 5mm. The documentation states that they measure 5mm. They look below 5mm. VOB said if Towson measures below 5mm they will replace them... as they should. The rear rotors are alos suspect.... one was only over (as they documeted) .02mm from needing to be replaced. Thanks for eveyones comments.

If that condensation is in the glass, have them replace the glass immediately. The cpo warranty will not cover it.

It is behind the glass... Has anyone ever seen this?? The SA from Towson, BMW said he has never seen or heard of this.
