I just finished changing my oil this morning, Mobil 1 synthetic oil around 7 quarts.
My problem is to reset the onboard computer?
Do I have to go to a dealer to get it reset?

Since the average price of full synthetic is about $7 - $8 a quart and these cars take 7 quarts plus oil filter I would say this BMW dealership is offering a very good deal.
A proper service also includes new air filters, and they are expensive, but also a checkup.
300 E for a full "small service" plus a small grantee job is what I will get and go for.
At the dealers.
