Your sig looks like a gay pride banner. Put that in your little quote box. Still waiting for your PM.

If you are interested in getting a good deal in terms of $$$, I would get a 2010 E60.
BMW has been giving good deals on those.
If you get a F10 550 when it debuts, you will likely pay through the nose. Never many discounts when a car first debuts. And there will be the inevitable kinks of a BMW in its first model year. Of course, the F10 550 will be considerably faster than the E60 550.

You poke at him for being racist and you start on the gay thing...
No offence...
On to the first discussion:
I drove both a 7-er and a 5-er before buying my 530d.
On that part i just want to say:
Go for the 5 if you want sporty, responsive handling, so in general just more of a sports car.
Go for the 7 if you want a bit more luxury, a little gentler ride.
For the engine part, V8's are a little too expensive over here, so i drove a 530i and a 530d.
I don't really care about fuel economy, i was just looking for a responsive, torquey ride.
I drove the 530d and i immediately went for that one, it just has more oomph (especially chip-tuned).
I know diesels aren't an option for Americans, that's a pity, because they are great!
On to the second discussion (age):
I'm 24 and i wouldn't want to trade up.
But, then again, i already have people working for me that are over 35, so that wouldn't be an upgrade.

Don't want to mingle in the discussion, but isn't that a bit homophobic?

Below I've attached his apology, which he has not honored completely:

BTW: Why would noting that someone's flamboyantly colorful signature reminds one of the famous gay pride banner make him homophobic? If I had said it reminded me of the city flag of Cusco, Peru, would that make me Peru-phobic? I'm not afraid of Peru, why I go there twice a year, and love it.

None taken. Don't you remember how he made of your country and your screen name, inter alia? I believe that entire thread was deleted.

About the gay thing, the comment i was refering to obviously was a "hint" to H being gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but why would he hint at that other than to flame at him?
A country-flag is ofcourse something different, because simply because someone is from, let's say Germany, doesn't really mean anything to anyone. (I know, i know, that's different for people from Palestine and Israel, for example)
Someone being gay however is "frowned upon" (to say it VERY gently) by some people.
