Re the original question.... here in Oz you take a serious bath on the re-sale of a 7 series (we pay $220k plus) and you can peel off a good $100k within a year or two, so I would suggest take a peek at what the 750 would be worth down the track.... that might just help the decision between the 550 and the 750. Me, I looked closely at the new 7 and I like it a lot... particularly the bigger engined models. I like the extra space. That said, if given a choice between the new 5 series due out and a 750 I will go the 5.
