No Nav to New CCC Nav
#1
Just finished installing CCC nav into my 04' 545 6spd Msport. The car came without nav. I contacted Patryk after reading numerous posts about the CIC upgrade for the e60 group. I went with the CCC system to keep costs down and simplicity of install. Patryk is a good guy and has gone out of his way to make this install happen. If any of you guys are thinking of an upgrade do not hesitate doing business with Patryk.

Congrats Bspeed,
I'm getting ready to do the exact same thing on a 2006 550i. Couple of questions for you:
- Prior to install I'm having the dealer do the latest updates, do you know what version your car was at prior to install?
- I have everything pre-wired / test fitted. Do you know if you got anything on the display at all prior to Patryk doing the programming? Just wondering because when I pull the MASK unit and put int the CCC and 8'8", the display is blank. I'm wondering if this is normal?

When I pulled the old unit and plugged the new one in everything worked except the nav. The display was on. The idrive worked, and there were quite a few more menu options. As far as dealer software I had a pretty up to date version, but I do not know which one it was. I have not had many posts here because I spend most of my time on the M5board (2001 M5 Carbon Black / Black - mods +++). Only recently have I started to mod my wife's 545. I know the new CIC is better but budget was limited. All in all a good update from the M-ask unit and a fairly easy install.
