No offense but that's B*&&sh&t. I take my car there all the time for service and have gotten a BMW 90% of the time. Usually a 325 or an X3. A few times they have called Enterprise and have gotten me something kind of cool like that FX Infiniti thing. The thing is that you need to tell them when you make the appointment that you want a BMW. If you get there and there is none available, tell them to call Enterprise. Their loaners getting beat up is part of the deal. Too bad.

Maybe they should supply Lexus cars. That way the quality defect costs on the loaners would be zero until the year 2021. Imagine the experience of the relentless pursuit of quality and numbness, each time you service your bimmer.

My dealer (Circle BMW in NJ) usually gives me an X5 or 530i, sometimes I have gotten a 330 or X3 and even a roadster.

Did you give it a wash and a wax before returning that baby.

I'm in a Charger Hemi navy blue, tan leather...it's almost as thirsty as my car. Moderate Detroit fun though.

I live in New Jersey and my car was due for its first oil change Park Ave Maywood.... I usually look foward to a german vehicle in replacement...This morning while walking up to the valet desk...He points to six fords...As I asked for a BMW they no longer carry them due to wreckless usage of vehicles... ...I dont know if its the users or the dealership...I usually dont mind taking my car to service, having another BMW to screw around in...Yet now I feel as if I dont want to service my car....Horrible ...just horrible

I used to live down the road from those jokers there. I never even bothered going there to look because everytime I would drive by I saw a 5 parked next to a Ford Fiesta.

Try Prestige up in Upper Saddle River. They seem to have a little more class.

Again you are in Jersey. The most screwed up state in the US.

Without a doubt Prestige BMW is the WORST dealership out there. My M3 was in for repair an astonishing 36 times in 3 years. They did not do a single repair that did not have to be redone at least once. One time they changed my soft top. I put the roof down to drive the car home and the entire thing ripped. Their service department is horrible and the Service Manager, Tony, may just be the most annoying person on the planet. One time they gave me a Mini as a loaner while my drivers seat was being replaced for the 4th time. The day the car was ready the SA called me every hour wanting to know when I was going to return the loaner because a potential customer was interested in buying it. Oh and let's not forget BLATENT RIPOFFS while we're at it. I took the car there for a routine oil service. The SA told me that it's BMW's policy not to reset service indicator lights after oil service unless the car is given a $270 inspection!! I was shocked and took the car to Park Ave. 45 minutes later, the work was done, the light reset and I was a mere $60 poorer.

When my lease was almost up they called me about getting into another car. I told them that they would have to beat my best deal by at least $200/month. That's how much it was worth for me to go to another dealer.

Another lovely story about them happened at the NY Auto Show last year. They had a brand new E60 M5 on display at the BMW booth. One of the people working there was a salesman from Prestige. I asked him about cost, delivery, etc. He told me, and I quote "wait on line for it buddy" True graciousness from someone who sells cars for a living. Anyway, if there is anyone looking for a BMW, even if they live next door to them, STAY AWAY FROM PRESTIGE.

Good to hear. I went there to test drive and possibly buy my 5 from them. I just got a very dismissive attitude from the salesperson there, and overall just a bad vibe.

I ended up buying from JMK on Route 22. We'll see how the service pans out there unless you have some input.

I used to date someone who lived in Union and had JMK work on my car several times. All I can say about them is that they are exceptional. If they were closer to me I would have bought my 550 from them. Also, if you happen to need parts, the guys who work the counter there are also outstanding. I have been on various BMW chat boards over the past 6 years and have yet to hear one negative thing about them. You made the right choice.
