I live in New Jersey and my car was due for its first oil change Park Ave Maywood.... I usually look foward to a german vehicle in replacement...This morning while walking up to the valet desk...He points to six fords...As I asked for a BMW they no longer carry them due to wreckless usage of vehicles... ...I dont know if its the users or the dealership...I usually dont mind taking my car to service, having another BMW to screw around in...Yet now I feel as if I dont want to service my car....Horrible ...just horrible

No offense but that's B*&&sh&t. I take my car there all the time for service and have gotten a BMW 90% of the time. Usually a 325 or an X3. A few times they have called Enterprise and have gotten me something kind of cool like that FX Infiniti thing. The thing is that you need to tell them when you make the appointment that you want a BMW. If you get there and there is none available, tell them to call Enterprise. Their loaners getting beat up is part of the deal. Too bad.

I usually get a BMW loaner, once I even got a loaded to the gills 545. Sometimes I do get an enterprise loaner like a Dodge Magnum or a Pontiac GP and if a BMW loaner comes back in then my SA will usually call me and ask me if I want to switch out. Anyway, it's good to get these American made POS sometimes to make us appreciate our cars even more. As an aside, the Gran Prix they gave me one time was such a godawful car, why in the world would anyone ever purchase such a vehicle.

Was just referring to your wording which was pretty strong.
Since i have my E60 only for 3 weeks now, I did not need a loaner yet. Lucky me since I like what I'v got.

My experience is that you always get some type of downgrade.
But my brother in-law got recently a Mini S as a loaner for his E39 Estate.
At least a bit of a fun car.

I'm pretty happy with my loaner experience. I've had the 1er, 3er & 5er so far. They don't let anyone drive away in less than a BMW. It's great! I'll ask for a Mini Cooper S next time
