Now thats what I want. I have no throttle response problems with my manual 545. I wouldn't mind RDS and a few Bluetooth fixes like call waiting and the 5 ring limit. But a faster I-drive is worth it.

My chief mechanic informed me that v 15.2 will be out next week. Solves some bugs but didn't have the release notes yet...

Goes the i-drive display faster loads up by start then before? We have a slow display

Also, what BUGS in CIP 15/E060-04-09-555? I haven't see or heard of any. The only "bugs" seem to be idiot dealers who can't install the SW right.
At least for me, yes, the iDrive now boots instantly. With my prior software version 11.x which came with the car at delivery, the start up time could be up to 20 seconds sometimes. Very pleased with the improvement.

According to my CM, 15.2 solves some minor bugs in 15.1.1 - in any case not worth the drive to the dealer for it IMO.

I got v15 about 10 days ago. iDrive bootup is definitely not instant. I can't really perceive a change from before the upgrade. Also, it erased all my nav destinations, address book entries and L7 settings. They also added Bluetooth ($132), which so far remains untested.
Don't you understand that 15.0 - 15.2 CIP have the same EXACT software version for the E60? I don't think you seem to.
