My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
1. 10-15% less weight.
2. Choice of all-weather tires with sport package.

I agree that BMW should put the engine temperature gauge back in the next 5er. I like to know when the car has warmed up to operating temperature. I'd like to see what the engine temperature is before there's a problem with overheating and not have to rely on an idiot light.
I find the E69 a little lacking in what I'd call "luxury car presence" when compared to its predecessor. To be honest, when I see other E60s on the road, some of them look rather plain, especially from the front, and just don't have the kind of panache I've come to expect of BMWs. I guess it mostly has to do with the current styling, which I like for the most part.
I'd like to see more storage for the front seat passengers and more agressive seats for the sports package. In my opinion, the sports seats in the new 3er fit like a glove and are far superior to those in the E60. Who knows? Maybe BMW figures that people who buy the E60s have wider behinds than those who go for the E90.

My Ride: 2005 BMW 330i Orient Blue exterior Beigh leather interior with Wood trim, Premium package, Steptronic auto, Xenon headlights.
1. Extra Rear Air vents located on the B-pillar like the Mercedes E500, and Audi A6.
2. Digital Temp displays on the iDrive screen like the 7 series E65 or even like the 3 series E90's
3. Two tone color Beigh sand interior like on the older 5 series E39's
4. Front center armrest should be leather like the E90's and E65's. not plastic!
5. height adjustable front seatbelts.
6. ARS or Dynamic Drive should be standard in these cars.
7. Return of a full size spare tire
8. Navigation CD slot should not be in the dash it should be in the glove box and the 6 disc changer should be in the dash.
9. standard iPod intregation.
That's all

My Ride: 2006 550i Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, Premium Sound Package, Comfort Access, Xenon Headlights, Adaptive Headlight Control, Navigation System, Steptronic Transmission. Silver Gray Metallic with Gray Leather. Added Red rear reflectors. Swapped stock Style 124 wheels and Bridgestone run-flat tires for BMW Style 125 5-Double Spoke wheels, 8" x 19" front, 9.5" x 19" rear with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires, 245/40YR-19 front and 275/30YR-19 rear.
