My Ride: 545iSMGSilver GrayAuburn Dakota LeatherLogic 7 Premium SoundSports Package

I tried it extensivly with a E90 loaner to see how Comfort stop was. Its there... its working... you can kinda feel it releasing the brake a tiny bit but it SUCKS! Horrible system. I wouldnt care for it. Its basically not there... just release the brakes your self a little and that works much better.

It works! Let your brakes get broken in a little bit and you will begin to notice it. If you make a hard stop it usually won't work but when you're rolling up to a stop sign comfort brakes are a nice feature!

I did a search on "soft stop" and there are quite few threads on this topic which you may find useful. I've not copied the links in here as it's easier for you to do a search and have a look through them for yourself.

Yes , it's working fine for me. You can feel it when dooing soft stops.
Another feature is the help to start in a hillclimb : when you release the brake pedal, the car stays 2 seconds before beginning to go reverse. So you have enough time to switch to the gas pedal & do a perfect start.
I find it more usefull than the soft stop feature.
