Newbie - lots of questions I'm afraid!

Hi all!
I purchase my 1st E60 530d M sport (2005 plate) at the beginning of the month. I have a few questions - hope you can help......
When I attempt to make a voice commanded call - it says phonebook is empty even though the Idrive is displaying names and numbers from my K850i.
I have bought some new lamps for the headlights. Some HID's from HID direct - anyone dealt with them b4? I bought an ULTRA+ HID Xenon Conversion kit 4300k . (yet to be fitted)
I also bought an LED Marker Angel eye kit - but there is only 2 in the box - when i look at the angel eyes - each ring has its own lamp......so do i need another 2 leds?
Also - the Aux selection is not available in the idrive menu even though it has an aux in!
any advice would be great!

For the LED angel eyes you just need exactly 2, use the search engine and find the diy on how to fit it.
I have never dealt with HID direct but the LEDs you bought should come with resistors or you would need to get hooked up or else it could cause some errors on the i-drive.

to the forum.Use your search tool and you will find a ton of stuff.
When making a call i usually say the name of the person i want to call and then the "guy" confirms the name and i say yes then it dials, not sure what commands you're telling him.
In regards to your other questions, i haven't made any mods to my car, but most of the guys on here will help you and point you in the right direction.

Get the longest long-nose pliers you can get, just as described in the fist DIY link.
Trust me, it'll make everything so much easier

My car does not currently have xenons - when I go to the angelibright website - it says that I must have xenon headlights for their led conversion to work.
So will my car accept the LED that I have purchased off ebay?

the LED that you got will not fit your car, they are for xenon lights.
