Another possible reason (if someone else finds this thread on a search for similar problem) the geometry on the suspension is not indentical from side to side, by design.
Depending on whether your car is left or right hand drive depends on the geometry, this is to account for the crown in the road, as im sure your aware roads are made with a slight crown to help drain away water from the surface (for one reason anyways), for this reason you cannot in an ideal world have identical geometry from left to right hand side on your car else the car would drive like crap and pull / tramline badly when braking or accelerating.
Might explain why one side and not the other
