On the topic of loaners. My dealer uses X3s. Not too bad. My Bimmer has been at the dealership for a week. They had two problems to fix. An airbag issue that they fixed right away and a problem with the adaptive deadlights. The small green LED was blinking next to the light switch each time my lights came on. Guess that means there is some sort of faut. I'm not real happy because it's been there a week. It supposed to be done today. Course they said that last Friday.

It depends on the loaner they give me. if they give a 6 or 7 series..i would not mind

I wish. My dealer is the infamous ParkAve BMW in NJ. Thei give you Fords. I had a pleasure of driving unsafe, no breaks, ratlle box called 2002 Focus SE for 5 days.

Hey Sergey,
Do you post on the Edmunds website? I think you were the one who gave me some good leasing advice back in May. I got a great deal also from Park Avenue BMW.
I had a 1991 Acura that Park Avenue Acura serviced and they always gave me a brand new Acura as a loaner. I would drive out of their lot and look across the street and see the BMW owners driving out in ford loaners. I wonder what kind of loaners Park Avenue Infinity has?

What a bunch of stingy jerks. I wouldn't want to drive a Ford Focus for 5 days. I think I would come up with another solution. You poor guy. I hope you don't plan on purchasing another car from that dealer.

With that said, to make you feel better, I think there must be many places in the world, where they don't give you any loaner car and might even laugh if you ask.

Interesting topic. I usually am a "waiter." But, when I had my tint redone, I got a loaner. When purchasing my car, I was told about the BMW free-loaner program. I envisioned the program being like Lexus. But, not--at least at my dealer! A Hertz, for at least some of the dealers, in an incredible auto park in Scottsdale, is on the back of BMW's lot. I ended up with a Mazda 6. Still, even though I pay for it implicitly, I rather have "free" service for 4 years rather than a great loaner, a la Lexus, and the Lexus rip-off service charges. Do any BMW dealers loan BMWs?

Recognizing that I may get different treatment due to my 6er, my dealer has loaned me a 745i, X3 (2 times) and a 330i Cabrio (I might have hinted my wife was thinking of moving on from her A4 Cabio [no chance BTW]). The X3s are covered in dealer ads, the others not. An aquaintance w/545 gets loaners too - usually the X3.
