Here's one simple feature that we really need --- Allow radio controls on the small right-side screen on Nav-equipped vehicles.

No need to waste the big screen on the audio system, and you could have the nav map up and see your radio controls at the same time.

 

as an owner of a 530i for almost a year now i can say that iDrive is awesome I hope every BMW i buy from now on has iDrive the way it is now. I find it so easy to use. Only thing I could think of for improving iDrive is to make the software much faster in process then it is now. sometimes there is a pause when changing from tracks on CDs or the radio with the iDrive controler. one more thing to add. Please please please make the temp climate controls read outs digital on the Screen AKA like the E65 7 series models. those tiny little writen numbers around the temp nobs are to small and sometimes blocked buy the nobs that stick out to much. Have a Blue line around the left side of the nob and a red line around the right side of the nob so it looks more like the E65 7 series models.
