I guess I did say "overpaid". I didnt mean you paid more than anyone else though, just implying that everyone with a 535 overpaid for what they got. Should have clarified that.

We can argue all day, but it is pointless. I dont really care about the 535 or this topic that much or continue a pointless discussion with an invalid. I dont spend much time on this forum anymore, i am sure not going to spend it arguing with a child.

I wont be checking back in on this topic, as I will feel inclined to reply to you, and it's not worth my time. We have all seen people like you around here before. I dont need to say anymore. Good luck to you!

I looked at the bill that BMW paid, when I picked it up from BMW of Manhattan. I don't remember the exact number now, but it was definitely in the thousands, not hundreds! I WTF'd too, trust me!

1. Recall for seat belt.
2. Recall for fuel lines.
3. Rear shock absorber failure.
4. Recall to replace the pignon rack.
5. Recalled pignon rack failure.
6. Recall for galiper brakes rust problem.
7. Cam shaft replaced under a service bulletin.
8. Recall for valve spring that could fail.
9. Famous recall for the sudden acceleration.
10 Recall for brake fluid possible link.

That is a lot of problem in 4 years!
Man, I wish I had that "many problems" with my 550i. In just 1 year I visited my dealer 7 times, only 1 was for a recall, the rest is convincing them to repair broken stuff. And I say "convincing" because unlike Lexus these guys not eager to help you when your car is under warranty.
And I still have issues with the car - strong vibrations on idle, leaking windshield wiper system (has been repaired twice already!!), random jerks from transmission, random failures to start, skipping CD player.

I know this thread has been dead awhile, and I couldn't imagine why, but has anyone with multiple HPFP failures had to pay for the second and subsequent fixes? Just had my second one fail (approximately 27 months and 16K miles) after getting the first one replaced. Being told by the dealer that my VIN is not on the warranty program and I have to pay. Would like to see what others have experienced.

The hpfp for the N54 engine is covered by a warranty extension from BMWNA, 10yrs/120k miles. If you have a N54 with a failing hpfp it should be covered. You might want to talk to the service manager about this issue.

So I just saw your other post and yes the warranty is technically for models sold in the US since the warranty extension was part of settling the suit. I'd still push the matter with BMWNA.

Thanks,
I registered it with BMWNA when I came back to the states. had no other issues with service or warranty work for the last 1.5 years of the 4. Seems like they just don't want to honor this one. Thanks again.
