Hi im new to site I just picked up a 08 e60 with 30k miles but I just wanted to say hello to all. But sense im here already I got a question has anyone ever used this dinan software upgrade it looks really interesting

There's a lot of threads about this already but it's pretty well established that one of the other tunes or piggyback solutions will give you the same or [much] better improvements for a lot cheaper. Most people seem to either use the JB4 or Cobb AccessPORT (probably the easiest.. but still a few hundred more than the JB4) but there's also Vishnu and a few other solutions. If you go on N54Tech (http://www.n54tech.com/forums/) they are big on the JB4 (and its predecessor the JB3). The main benefit to going with the Dinan flash is that they will match your factor warranty or provide at least 2 years. In your case it'd be the latter. If you did go with Dinan you'd probably want to do the Stage II. The only hassle then is that you have to pay "labor" of an hour at most dealerships for the to hookup to the computer and press start.
