Please, anybody can supply list of improvements/changes over previous release? After updating to PROGMAN 25.00, I had bad malfunctioning in my LCD screen (8,8"), in some pages of the menu, not all of them, the images are all disturbed by color bars (like a bar code). Could it be software related of is it a fairly typical problem of video processors?

There has never been a claim that PROGMAN (formerly CIP) ever fixed that kind of issue. That is a CID or CCC problem (hardware) . As long as you can easily show your dealer that issue they should fix that right up with new hardware.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I recently took my 07 550i in to the dealer for a service before I returned back to the states after being stationed in Germany. After getting the car back, all of my settings were gone and the colors of the I-drive display were changed. Before, I had a brown background with a red blue green and brown tabs. Now, since the dealers have updated the car, the I-drive display is grey and the tabs change colors once they are selected.
I have noticed that now when I use my iPod in the random mode, it automatically returns to that mode when the car is restarted. Also, if the I-Drive is displaying the artist and song when the car is turned off, it automatically returns to that screen when the car is restarted.
I haven't really noticed any other changes because I had to take the car in for shippment back to the United States. it has been a week without my car and I am having a hard time adjusting to teh ride and feel of the rental car I am using. I just don't know how I managed all these years without a Bimmer.

Version 26 is NOT TO BE USED on the E60 anymore. BMW has stopped the use of 26 after some trouble with this version.
Newest version is 26.01 and can be used.
