New 545i owner!!!

My Ride: 545i/6
Well its been a little bit, but I knew it was just a matter of time before I was back in a bmw. Ive had a 96 328i manual, 99 540i auto, and now just picked up an 04 545i manual. I know all about the maintnance and such, so I know what im getting into. The car is currently out of warranty with 83k mi. However I have had great luck with my manual 328i, but not so much with my automatic 99 540i, several annoying maintnance issues (traded in on acura tl for wife, then i ended up with it and couldnt stand it). I also know a personal friend of mine who has an 04 545i manual with 157k mi with NO issues other than oil changes brakes and a few o2 sensors here and there. So im looking forward to many rewarding trouble free miles to come! Now if I develope a ticking 4.4 than I will be the first one here compaining lol. But hey, cant always live life in fear and what ifs, if I did I would have passed up this awesome car, btw its titanium on black

Thanks! Glad to be back! I look forward to being on the forums for awhile. Btw, nice car, Ive got the same color and love it, its exactly what I was looking for.

My Ride: '05 545i
Great to hear that there are others out there who are getting the older 545s. My brother purchased a '04 525 and was looking to sell it to me for the simple reason that he had too many cars, or so his wife thinks, I am sure. I went out looking to see if I fit as I am 6'4" and I found my 545 with Nav and Bluetooth which are two options that I love to have since I am in sales and go to new places almost daily and use my car almost like an office. 
Of course the extra power was nice to have also.
I have only had mine a month or so, but it is a great car. I know we both will enjoy them!!!
