For those of you who have replaced/serviced the clutch in your manual trans e60, how much did it cost you and where did you have the work performed? Does anyone know if the e39/e60 M5 clutch setup will work in my 545i?

I actually had a buddy help me do mine. Not very difficult at all. LUckily I didn't need the flywheel, which is the more expensive side, just the pressure plate. I bought it through Tishcer BMW but I don't remember how much. They were by far the cheapest. Good luck. Did by CDV delete at the same time.

The quotation for the clutch kit is as follows;

Original Clutch Kit = Euros 415.78
Labour for Installation = Euros 160.00
Total Cost = Euros 575.78

Thanks for the input. What model is your e60? Do you regret not doing the flywheel at the same time?

I haven't done mine yet but if you are doing clutch, check out this aluminum clutch pin:
