Hey gang.
Last night I parked my car with some lock to the left and this morning when I drove off too work I get a message saying active steering fault and the steering wheel is at about 1 o clock.
Any quick fixes?

 

this happened 2 me when i disconnected by battery once to do some work, i called BMW assist and they said its no big deal just drive around moderately and it will kick in by itself,,,, and it did!


dont take my word for it though, check with bmw assist or ur dealer before u drive off...

U can reset it yourself. Just turn the car on and turn the wheel all the to the L and then to the R. Turn the wheel back to the center and turn the car off then on. It's n the manual. If that doesn't work do vice versa R then L.
