I got one for you guys that a buddy of mine with an e46 pointed out (and I've tested of course). If you hold down your turn signal as you turn off the ignition, the side your signal was blinking on will illuminate the angel eyes and the rear brake light ever so slightly. I guess BMW did this so if you park on a busy street at night you can illuminate up the side of your car exposed to passing cars so people take notice and are more aware of your vehicle when parking or driving by. Actually pretty sweet to see.

Changing Cruise Control Speed

You can alter the cruise control speed at 5mph increments (instead of the usual 1), by pushing or pulling the cruise control stick further than usual. Think of it like the new style indicators where you push slightly for them to work temporary and push harder (until you feel the click) for them to lock on. Push the cruise control stick forward (for faster) and back until it clicks to give you 5Mph increments.

Sorry if this is a lame tip, but I thought it could be done and didn't know how until I found it by mistake.
Adding to what you mentioned, I found out when I am driving on the highway on Cruise Control, if you pull the little Cruize Control knob back towards you, as you mentioned a soft pull towards you slows you down 1 mile at a time, however hard pull 5 miles per hour, the Trick is, when you hold it back (hard pull) the car actually applies breaks, and depending on your speed the car estimates how hard to apply breaks.

The cool part is, ever since I found this out I actually think using cruise control is super cool and convenient. TRY IT.

1-
If you are listening to the radio and "all stations"
if you reach the last station, it will go the first one if you use the steering controls to change the station ( and vice versa from the first to last)
Will not if you use the i drive

OR wait, is it the other way around

2-
if you have the power tailgate set to open all the way (via i drive option), and during its opening it seems to get close to a roof (eg parking garage), just hit the close button once and it will stop opening immediately
Adding to what you wrote, did you guys know the Channels Pre-set buttons 1,2,3,4,5, & 6 are touch active?
If you simply pass your finger over any of the numbered buttons it will display on your screen all the pre-set stations INCLUDING pre-set phone numbers.

1. Car has to be completely off. Not in radio readiness.
2. Trip computer reset button is in the instrument cluster. Don't depress brake or clutch to start car when pressing start/stop.
9. If all goes well. You'll see it.

Hidden OBC function access.
Yea these functions are well discussed in the DIY section for resetting your oil change schedule, brakes, etc...

I never did try it, but when I will do my oil change I will for sure!
