I got my DVD, and it didn't work!? I plugged it into the Nav player, and the new one (2005-2) didn't get recognized.? Anyone else tried yet?

I'm wondering if it only works with the new Software version.

The DVD/Package is labeled BMW, just like the last one, and the part number is 65 90 0 398 542...

I'll call and ask.

I got a message which said. "A newer DVD has been inserted. Please turn off the car for 5 minutes and then restart" After that all was good. You may want to try that.

Can you provide a part number from the DVD and maybe from the Navteq invoice?

I was given an RMA, told to send it back to Navteq, and contact BMW about Bulliten # B840204

Anyone have access to the Bulliten,

James

Then you might want to reference this bulletin and see about getting a free upgrade.

Got same message, followed instructions and worked just fine.

Part Number BMW# 65-90-0-398-540

And I will not up load the ISO as my best connection is 28kbs download and even slower upload, so sorry folks.
