No you do not need a dual layer. The ISO file will fit on a DVD.. Here is a link for instructions on how to burn the ISO file

I would not recommend using this DVD, it would always freeze up. Put in an authorized dealer purchased copy and it's beeing working fine for over a month. Not worth the risk to save some money.
