My Ride: 95 M3 CAI, chipped, pulleys, Xbrace, doesn't give headaches every time I start up!
04 545i all the goodies INCLUDING HEADACHES!
After repairing the overflow hose to the top of the engine to the expansion tank I was expecting to find more leaks and I did.
It looks like the sensor on the lower radiator hose has sprung a leak. Can I just replace the "O" ring or do I need to buy the whole sensor? I think I read somewhere that you can, but can't find the link and where to buy it from. And how much coolant will I lose when I pull the sensor? I'm trying to plan ahead to determine if I need to buy more OEM antifreeze.
I also found the top of this hose wet. I don't know if it's from an oil leak or water. I wiped it off and will check after I drive for awhile. It's just below the crank pulley. Does anyone know what this serves where this hose goes? I can't see with the pulley in the way. It looks like antifreeze from the WP would drip on it if it starts to leak upon failure.
Thank for any help anyone can provide

im going to guess thats your power steering hose. looks like oil got slung on there from somewhere else. clean it and see if it comes back.
if you want a clearer look, lift the front of the car, and remove the underside plastic shield.

^ +1.
I concur with the above suggestion to remove the bottom cover and look from bottom of the engine. You may be able to follow the fluid to find the root cause of the leak.
