I would check the starter. I had the same problem with my starter, until i tapped the engine block a few times near the starter and it started.

Sometimes a car can develop a no start condition due to a bad crankshaft sensor. That happened in my previous BMW 3-series...I replaced the battery but it still wouldn't start...all the lights and assessories would come on but not teh engine. They trouble shot it to the crankshaft sensor. Best of luck.
