My trunk pops up too "aggressively"

04 545i all the goodies INCLUDING HEADACHES!
I snapped mine to the last top detent toward the front and it pops open just right for me 
, my 2003 E60 had it.

Sorry to bring up an kinda old topic but how do you adjust it? Now that I have the RD Sport spoiler and trunk finisher my trunk very slowly open and stops halfway up. The only way I see to do it is with a screw driver and just pull it back and pray it doesnt slip off.

Lol, maybe I wasn't clear earlier. Mine doesnt pop up "aggressively" anymore. Its more like a very slow opening and then it stops halfway up because of the weight of the trunk finisher and spoiler. My question was how would one go about moving the spring back to get the that "aggressive" opening back.

I couldn't take out an old lady right now with how slow it comes up. I'll post a video in a few hours so you can see what I mean. I usually have to open it up the rest of the way when I do open it.
