my engine mounts keep breaking
I don't buy the problem as being you driving to hard as the mounts should last for thousands of miles even under massive strains and trust me ive done some massive mods with power and only had to change a few mounts!! i would suggest a bad install or alignment problem when refitting the motor!
Sorry guys I usually am somewhat knowledgable but do higher HP engines like the 550 put more strain on the motor mounts than a 255hp 530? given that you each rev it to the max hard?
I am just not sure if high HP translates into also more external movement and forces or if it just turns the crankshaft that much quicker-
ie Me flooring the car every time
v . M5 flooring car every time
Would it be more likely m5 would break the mounts or is the hp not causing any additional force outside the engine

Simple test can demonstrate the physics behind this. With the hood open, have someone gun the engine quickly. You will be able to see the block pivot wiithin the engine bay.
On a Porsche, to counteract this, there is a second 'balance shaft belt' which basically helps counter the effect of the engine balance when doing quick high revs.
When you take the car back in, make sure they check both the engine mounts and the tranny mounts. Either one breaking puts extra strain on the others due to the slight misalignment is can causes when one fails.

What brand mount are you using, and if it's OEM, where are you sourcing them?
Has the car ever been in a front-end wreck?

These are great questions. I did all my mounts about 8 months ago using Anchor mounts (known for multiple brand as OEM) and I haven't had an issue. I even replaced my transmission mounts with anchor.
Thank you for replying. I bought car used last june. Within 1st week i took it back and they changed all 3. They claimed they didnt have carfax. Then i made a trip to florida and mounts went bad again. Took to mechanic had all 3 mounts replaced again. Those didnt make the trip back home. They both claimed they ordered mounts from factory. Its a 2015 dodge dart sxt 2.4 l. Im 61 years old so im not hard on a car. My son noticed my front bumper was diff color white than the car. Im sure it has been in a wreak and i got screwed on sale. I dont know what to do at this point. Hope you can guide me in right direction. Thank you!

The only thing to do is to take it to a collision shop and have them fix what's wrong. Also you can pull the Carfax yourself. There's a site that costs around $9 for it.
Also we are thinking your vehicle was a BMW and confused on how you ended up here. Either way I would do what I suggested as that's the only way you're going to fix your issue.

You have to replace the 2 engine mounts (for an N52) and the transmission mount for the noise/rattling/vibration to go away. I only replaced the two front mounts and didn't really help the noise or vibration.
