Of course.. I've had a bit of trouble with the Maglites in cold weather aswell.. however the 4xD-cell doesn't react as much to freezing temperatures as a smaller 2 AA battery light.

Guess the only thing failsafe would be a pair of lightsticks

 

I like the torch and have used it quite a bit. I will enjoy it for a little longer I believe. Though, I have a new garage so I may not need it now.
