MY car has been in the shop for lurching and lunging x 3 when started after sitting for 12hrs or so. I put it in reverse keep my foot lightly on brake while backing and my car will lurch and lunge backwords. I have come close to hitting my gate with my car. The problem is intermittent. The only time the dealership was able to duplicate they said the gas was 15% Ethanol. I have switched to Chevron , a top tier gas and now after a several weeks with no problems it did it this morning.
The dealership is at a loss. When they get a loaner in they are supposed to call me. In the mean time I am going to have to closely monitor. No fault codes have been found nor any CELs.
I love my car , but, cannot keep this up. The dealership is an hour away. I only have 42000 miles on my car. Fortunately it is still in warranty. Any ideas?

Since you have had no replies I thought I should write. My 535 does the exact same thing. It is intermitent, too. I've been analizing it and it seems to only do it when I've been drinking. Hope this helps.
