Hi,
Sorry to go over old stuff but I just wanted to compare my MPG figures to others
Motorway at 75MPH: 40MPG
Town/Dual carriageway: 27MPG
Town: 24MPG

My Ride: 04' 545i, Sport Package, Black, Active Xenon, ARS, Aux Input
'10 Tahoe, Black on Black, leather, Nav/XM, 20" tires, full body kit, power 2nd row, loaded

Wait... you want to improve 40, 27 and 24mpg ??

My Ride: 2004 530d SE,manual,beige Dakota leather,light wood trim,jet black.(alot will be changed)
holy flak jack, my 2004 530d manual gets 47.7mpg all the time, if i drive hard i can get it down to 40 or drive like a granny i can get it up to 51mpg
yours must be auto to be getting that low.

I really don't believe you are getting 47mpg.. It must be a readout error because it is WAY below factory spec. If your driving only highways, 40mpg is the best you'll get.
