Hmm to my understanding if you have the navigation for USA cars all screens are bigger ones. If you don't have the navigation you only have the small screen for Idrive.
Can someone tell me which Nav I have? My car was built mid May 2006 and I have navigation.

Of course you have nav pro - according to Europeans. Those yanks here call it nav. There is no such thing as business nav in US. It's marketing game. I saw your sig has E60 on order, and it should be able to play MP3 off the dealer.

I have had MP3 working since the last release and it still does. The service department however has to carry out an additional procedure called 'MP3 Retrofit'. Just insist that it works in your car.

Prod. date 03/04, I've just been updated to latest CIP, not sure what version, so far MP3 No.
I'm in the US so I did not have option to add Business or Pro radio and not sure which one I have. No Nav

Could anybody in the US with the same MY04 w/no NAV please chime in?
I would like to know if you can play MP3 and how did you do it. I'm in ATL and so far United BMW and BMW Global Imports have told me that it is not possible, both with different reasons of why it cannot be done.
