No.
The new software that enables MP3 playback is expected to be released in October/November!

My car was in service over this weekend and new software was installed (v. 18). I was pretty disappointed to find out that (as per my SA) that MP3 is still not available, but I thought I've seen a post on this forum about someone who had MP3 enabled on Non-Nav cars in the States. Can someone confirm that?
Thanks!

I remember someone(s) mentioned that MP3 or not depends on the radio unit itself (Business or Professional)
With Professional and non-NAV: MP3 (in single player)
With Professional Nav: MP3 in Oct/Nov..etc
With Business Nav/Non Nav: No MP3
For North America, I think we only get Prof Nav and therefore anyone with Nav in NA will not have MP3 until Oct/Nov.....
However, there are still some reports flying around with the exceptions....

I can not understand BMW...
You pay more for ProNav and ProRadio and you do not get MP3
While it works perfectly on the base model... Grrrrr

Until March 2005 US cars without nav came with the standard radio, what is bus = no MP3.
Since then all US E0's seem to come with radio pro as standard, so with no nav, car built March05 or later = MP3.
Generally, cars w/o nav and with radio bus = NO MP3! Cars w/o nav and with radio pro = MP3!
Cars that have nav (bus or pro) allways have radio pro.
Cars with nav bus have the M-ASK, they can play MP3's.
Cars with nav pro have the CCC, they need the software update, that will be released soon, looks like early December now, hopefully November. October seems to be impossible.
US cars allways have nav pro, there is no nav bus in the USA.

[/quote]Outside the USA you get a business radio tuner and a professional radio tuner
One needs the professional radio tuner to have MP3
Its got nothing to do with logic 7, its what in other cars is known as the "headunit"
