The attached chart says a CD changer that plays MP3s won't be available for the E60 until 03/07, but I don't interpret that to mean you can't have the in dash CD player MP3 capable if you have a CD changer. Is this the chart you're referring to?

No. That's not the chart I saw. It was a chart of which cars could have the MP3 retrofit. the E60 with glovebox CD changer had a X in the box
