MP3 cd's in iDrive

My Ride: '07 530i
i have a 07 e60 without navi and i can play mp3 cd's but i was wondering if i can burn songs to a dvd and if it will play that?

I don't believe you can. Only if you have navi that has the dvd drive. Then you can burn songs onto a dvd and play mp3's in the drive that the navi disc goes into.

Although I've heard you can not play MP3 CDs on the non-nav cars before a certain date, I have been in an 11/04 build 545 that could. Don't know what it had different, only rode in it once and it had an MP3 CD playing.
