[quote name='berkar' date='Mar 10 2005, 11:15 AM']Hi, I have business nav in may car, and I wait for the new soft which will can

play MP3.

But I have a question: If the player will lay the mp3 and it will show and control

from I drive, will the menu write the files name text like sunshinemix(sunshinemix.mp3)?

Will write out the track name text? Or like the audio cd just the track number?????

Thanks

Since the software which supports MP3 is coming out soon and not yet available, nobody has seen it yet. We'll have to wait a few weeks more...

However, if you look in the owners manual you will see screenshots from the i-drive display showing mp3 tracklistings and nested folders!!!

All the more frustrating.

Then again, they probably photoshopped them

Not necessarily. I am sure they have a couple cars for testing were it works.

Does anyone know if the software update to play MP3's will work for all build dates?? I have a 11/03 build non-nav 525i.? Seems like the early build are left out of some stuff (bluetooth!)

How are you guys finding out about what's in the future versions anyway?? Asking the dealer?

Thanks in advance for the info!

Weather Band. Works well on east Coast of Florida. I have about three channels that work well.

Is BMW going to do an MP3 recall to update our software version when 16.2 is released?
I'm sure we all want it but how are they going to handle the software update demand?
