I don't have this problem in my e60 but did have it in my 1997 e39. I think it was a problem for many but not all e39s. They replaced the seat rails at least once but it never really went away.
I was rearended once in the e39 but the seat never posed a safety problem.

I *think* I have this same problem in my PASSENGERS seat. I have only sat in it once while allowing my friend to understand the hugh difference in my E60 and his Corvette. I felt, kinda heard a subtle sound and a slight movement. Is this what you all are experiencing?

[/quote]We went down a road to that had significant twists in order for him to feel the suspension handling. He was very impressed. His comment was that the 545 felt like the Z06 in terms of handling, but he just has the standard 04 vette. From a pure power perspective, he has me, but I have four doors. Two totally different cars, but it is not too big of stretch to say in performance terms, the 545 performs like a 4 door corvette.
Overall, his is a sports car, mine is a luxury performance car and driving them both confirms that.
