My 530i (petrol) is only a couple of weeks old, so is still in the break-in period, but out of about 60 litres, I get 500km, which is not bad.
Reading some of the postings on this forum, the fuel efficiency will improve post break in so am looking forward to it! Especially with fuel at $1.35/litre! Sure, its Australian pesos, but I only earn Australian pesos!

I did another 610 km's today @ average 127km/hr.
Started with a full tank & reset all parameters at the start of the journey, and my remaining range is 197km.
Thats over 800km's with a petrol!
Not bad l think.

i travel all the time from Los Angeles to San Francisco. That's 415 miles. But i really have to drive on cruise control to get that far on one tank. Actually my trip meter says 406 when I still had the original rims and tires. Then when I put on my 20's trip meter say 389 on the same distance traveled.
I can achieve approx 400 Km +/- 5% in this land of traffic lights.
However, if I shoot up north into Malaysia's North South Highway, I can achieve up to 480 Km @ an average speed of 180 Km/hr
