I was driving back to the office after lunch today and waiting to pull onto the road was a 535 in Platinum Gray metallic, same color as mine. Something about his car looked different though, and it really set it off nicely. I quickly realized it was the factory grill. I got back to the office parking lot and I looked at my front end and just about decided to swap back the original grill this weekend. Anyone else ever feel this way?

Every time I wash my E60, when I look at the front, the chrome surround on the black grille seems to sit well with the chrome highlight in the Xenon headlight. With some combination such as Sdark color paint and Shadowline window trim, matte black grilles seem to work well.

I personally dont like black grilles but I love my carbon fiber grille. While to some it probably is very similar but its different and unique enough as well as not being so dull-that it stands out and looks sharp

I don't like the black grills either... something with the color just not really blending together ... i don't know but I like the stock for the moment.

I don't like matte black front grills either. So I painted it Gloss Jet Black, instead. WIN!

if you had matte black wheels, matte black bedges, tint, shadowline and black/white emblems, then you'll love your matte black grills.

I actually just got the matte black grill on my white 535, and am still debating if it looks good.. About to switch it back to the stock
